One of the biggest perks I noticed while staying at San Diego Mission Bay Resort is its unbeatable location. Situated right on the water, you get the best of both worlds—tranquility when you need to focus and easy access to some of the most vibrant parts of the city when you’re ready to explore or need to head out for a meeting. From the resort you can quickly reach:

• Downtown San Diego (15 minutes away) – Perfect for networking meetups, coffee shop hopping, and enjoying the city’s nightlife.

• Pacific Beach (5 minutes away) – Ideal for a quick surf session or working from a beachfront café.

• La Jolla (15 minutes away) – A great spot to take a break and admire the stunning coastal views.

Speaking of the boardwalk, this is one of the best perks of staying here. The Mission Bay boardwalk stretches for miles, providing the perfect spot for morning jogs, afternoon bike rides, or just a casual walk to break up your workday. Being able to step outside and instantly feel connected to nature and the energy of the bay makes working remotely feel much more refreshing. I started off each morning with an early morning walk. You’ll definitely run into locals and seagulls!

For example, my preference was the first floor water facing rooms, but you might like to be situated with a garden view or even prefer the tall tower rooms.
